Embroidery
Left: Reference Image of Zelda from Hyrule Warriors. I created a template for the embroidery from this image, in Adobe Illustrator.
Right: Base tabard. The plan was to satin-stitch the swirls, using fusible interfacing as a base/guide.
Far Right: All the gold pieces were done using check purl bullion wire. The check purl was cut into "chips" and sewn on like beads. Each gold piece has a felt underlayer and a border of couched pearl purl. All goldwork embroidery was done on organza, then transferred to the final piece.
