Seamstress, Designer, Scenic Artist

For my final in my Costume Design class we had to choose a play to design completely, including swatches for five looks. As someone who loves history, I chose Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in the Sun for the opportunity to research fashion in the 1950's. Most of my research came in the form of fashion plates and magazine scans I came across on the internet. Out of all ten looks I created, my favorites are Beneatha's first look, and Asagai's hawaiian shirt.
